Prime Television has been supplying minicams for all areas of broadcast for over 15 years.  When it comes to minicam facilitation we have seen it, done it, got the T-shirt, ironed out problems and perfected the service.

We would like to share that knowledge and experience with you and your team...

Scariest Places on Earth

It’s been a decade and a half since we started pre-production on what was to become our first big rig show using minicams and remote controlled minicams (PTZ cameras). We provided 20 cameras for Scariest Places on Earth, shooting the first series before they took the production to the US. The production was mostly shot using our new Pan&Tilt (PTZ) camera system, configured to film in both colour and infra-red but we also supplied Toshiba minicams and well as the main unit cameras. Take a look at what was produced, we think it still looks good after all these years.

IK-4K

The New Toshiba IK-4K

Prime have been using Toshiba minicams for over 15 years. First with the IK-TU48, then the IK-HD1 and more recently the BBC approved IK-HD2 camera. Now the world leader in HD minicams has introduced  the world's smallest 3-chip UltraHD, 4K video camera, the IK-4K. The key advantage of this incredible camera is improved resolution, providing amazingly sharp details which can enhance any production requiring minicams. When 4K images are desired and space is limited, the IK-4K delivers exceptional colour performance with remarkable details, providing absolutely the best images possible. Prime already have some on order with Toshiba, so watch this space.
