Our purpose built Portable Minicam Production unit can be mains or battery powered and can be configured for a variety of cameras and recorders. Sound Devices PIX 240i portable recorders; recording 1080/50i or 1080/25P HD to CompactFlash cards or removable 2.5-inch solid-state hard drives. It can record in either Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD video formats. These I-frame codecs offer the best in picture quality, processing efficiency, and data storage requirements. The built in sound and timecode locking capability along with remote monitoring makes this the ideal portable production unit for multi-camera in car production or other portable rig shows.
